This documentary focuses on a longtime family friend with a wide range of passions and talents, which he’s lately used in the highly specialized realm of toaster restoration. The film follows Tim over a weekend of work and examines the wonder in old machines, the deep connections that we form with everyday objects, and of course, how to make the perfect piece of toast.
