My memories of my time as a Boy Scout formed the foundation for this comedy-drama of reluctant leadership. We shot in several locations in the greater Chicagoland area, camped out on the set, had our craft services table attacked by raccoons (I’m not kidding - it was a rough night), and enjoyed the energy of our young cast and incredible crew. This was my first time substantially working and rehearsing with actors, and it was a blast. As my thesis film, it was a rigorous exercise in filmmaking from start to finish, and an invaluable opportunity to take big swings, make mistakes, and learn.
